The Oscar Howe Summer Art Institute (OHSAI) is open to high school students with a demonstrated interest in the visual arts and American Indian culture. All courses are taught by impressive professional artists and all accepted students attend free of charge, including meals, housing, instruction and art supplies.

The University of South Dakota offers a variety of programs designed to educate and inspire youth in a variety of academic, athletic and extracurricular camps. Participants have the opportunity to expand their education and skills while making new friends and experiencing life at USD.

DSU GenCyber is a Cyber Security camp designed for high school students entering grades 10 through 12 (currently in 9-11). Students will participate in hands-on education sessions with DSU professors, alumni, and current students as well as other industry professionals.

The SD Youth Trooper Academy's mission is to recruit young men and women from culturally diverse backgrounds from across the state of South Dakota, and to increase their understanding of the job of a state trooper. The program is designed to expose young adults to the demands of Highway Patrol Recruit training and to develop better relationships between the youth of our state and the Highway Patrol.
