Students attend National Youth Science Camp
Avon High School’s Theodore Fennema and Jennifer Galvin of Redfield High School represented South Dakota at the 2010 National Youth Science Camp in West Virginia. Kimberly Sjurson of Webster was the alternate.

Participants in the all-expense paid honors program spent June 29 through July 23 at Camp Pocahontas in the Monongahela National Forest in the eastern mountains of West Virginia. The National Youth Science Camp is hosted and operated each year by the National Youth Science Foundation.

South Dakota’s delegates to the National Youth Science Camp are selected by the state Department of Education. Email Penny Smith for more information.
